About the Council
The Berkley Council on Aging (BCOA) has been in existence since 1973 when it was authorized at the Annual Town Meeting to carry out programs designed to meet the problems and needs of the elderly in Berkley and in cooperation with programs of the executive Office of Elderly Affairs in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Services are provided with funding from municipal grants along with private donations and volunteer services.
Because of this support, many of our programs are offered free or at a minimal charge to your elderly residents. To qualify as a senior citizen you must be age 60 or over.
